ich widme mich W40K zum dritten Mal in meinem Leben.
1998 - angefangen, mit einem klaren Fokus möglichst schnell die Bastel- und Malaktivitäten hinter mir zu lassen, um auf den Tisch zu kommen. Nach zwei Jahren ist das Interesse eingeschlafen.
2016 - ohne Ziel, einfach zur Entspannung ohne jegliche Vorbereitung drauf los gemalt, nach wenigen Monaten alles im Keller verstaut.
Dezember 2021 - Ich suche dringend ein kreatives Hobby, um meine kopflastige Arbeit im Feierabend hinter mir lassen zu können. Vor dem ersten Pinselstrich habe ich enorm investiert - ich habe einen separaten Basteltisch mit Tageslichtlampe, Unterlage, wet palett, 60 Farben, diverse Pinsel, Sprays, Kleber, Werkzeuge... Und noch ein paar alte Gußrahmen mit diversen Minis diverser Fraktionen.
Ziel
Mein Hauptziel ist natürlich, mich bestmöglich zu entspannen und Spaß am Bemalen zu haben. Nach und nach möchte ich zu jeder (Unter-)Fraktion eine Armee bemalen. Im Anschluss würde ich diese gern zum Quasi-Selbstkostenpreis (Preis der Minis plus ne Mark für Farben, Kleber und den ganzen Schlonz) verkaufen. Ich will nichts verdienen, ich habe nur keinerlei Verwendung für die fertigen Figuren. Ich habe nicht vor, damit zu spielen.
- Damit jemand Freude damit haben kann, stelle ich mir vor, dass die Zusammensetzung der Truppe durchaus wichtig ist. Da ich selbst nicht spiele und nicht spielen werde, bin ich an dieser Stelle ganz stark auf eure Anregungen und Hilfestellungen angeweisen, dementsprechend viele Fragen habe ich dazu.
- Dem Fluff nähere ich mich durch Regelbuch, Codex und ggf Supplement; nebenbei konsumiere ich die Horus Heresy als Hörbuch und lese natürlich wild durchs Internet, ich möchte hier möglichst akurat sein, was die Zusammensetzung der Truppe als auch die Kennzeichnungen und Farbwahl angeht; Anmerkungen sehr gern gesehen!
- Ich habe nicht vor, eine Armee nach der anderen abzureißen. Ich werde mich gut vorbereitet einer Armee nähern und während des Bastelns und Bemalens intensiv damit beschäftigen. Das heißt auch, dass ich ggf besondere Waffen/Truppen/Charaktere wähle, weil ich sie einfach cool finde oder auf jeden Fall bemalen will.
Planung
Ich habe für meinen ersten Aufschlag einmal den absoluten Standard - Ultramarines - mit 1.000 Punkte gewählt. Diese Größe bietet genug Abwechslung bei den Minis, ist aber groß genug, um nicht nur als reine Zusatzeinheit zu dienen.

Bezüglich der Bemalung und der Kennzeichnung... Captain Uriel Ventris hat seine angestammte Position als Verteidiger Ultramars verlassen und befindet sich mit Mitgliedern der 3., 4. und 5. Truppe, sowie Unterstützungstrupp 9 seiner IV. Kompanie auf einer Aufklärungsmission. Unterstützt wird er durch ein versprengtes "Heavy Intercessor Squad" des "Mortificators"-Ordens (VIII. Kompanie, 7.Trupp), die von ihrer Hauptstreitmacht getrennt wurden, und Ventris begleiten, bis sie zu ihrem ursprüglichen Zielort 0zurückkehren können.

3. Fluff
Das Kombinieren mit anderen Orden ist ja theoretisch möglich. Ich habe die "Mortificators" eingebaut, um mal eine Abwechslung in der Farbe zu haben. Sie sind ein direkter Nachfolgeorden der Ultramarines, ich gehe also davon aus, dass sich dieses Squad exakt genau wie Ultramarines einsetzen lässt und auch die gleichen Regeln gelten. Korrekt?
